Hamilton police say that six people were taken to hospital, two with serious injuries, following a head-on collision late Thursday night.
It happened at around 10 p.m. on Highway 6 between Chippewa Road and Haldibrook Road.
Reports from the scene suggest that one of the people taken to hospital in serious condition was an elderly woman.
The circumstances leading up to the collision are not immediately clear.
