Toronto Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 23-year-old suspect after a man was robbed of his gold necklace at gunpoint and shot at several times in Scarborough’s West Hill neighbourhood on Tuesday night.

Police say they were called to the corner of Kingston and Galloway roads at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday night for a report of shots fired.

They found a 31-year-old man who had been robbed of his gold necklace.

Investigators say multiple shots were fired at the victim during the robbery but none struck him.

Police are seeking a suspect identified as Ad-Ham Khamis of Toronto.

He is facing eight charges including robbery with an offensive weapon, careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm and discharging a restricted firearm in a reckless manner.

Khamis is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached if spotted.
