A Toronto doctor is facing charges after a woman says she was sexually assaulted during an examination.

Police say a 26-year-old woman went in for an appointment at the Coxwell Medical Building located at 688 Coxwell Avenue, in the spring of 2013 and during a routine examination, she was touched in a sexually inappropriate manner.

The woman, according to police, then stopped the exam and left the clinic.

It is further alleged that the physician began to make unsolicited contact with the victim in August, 2014 about issues that were not medical in nature.

On Wednesday, police say Dr. Oluleke Badmos, 52, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and criminal harassment.

Police say they believe there may be more victims and ask anyone with information to call 416-808-5500 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
