Toronto police say they are executing a search warrant at a North Dumfries farm belonging to murder suspect Dellen Millard after new information surfaced.

It is not known what police are looking for or which investigation the search pertains to.

“Our investigators have learned new information in an ongoing investigation which has granted them approval for a search warrant,” Const. Wendy Drummond told CP24 Monday morning. “It began this morning at approximately 8 a.m. and we don’t have any timeline as far as how long we will be there.”

Millard was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Ancaster man Tim Bosma in May.

Following his arrest, Toronto police confirmed to CP24 that they had opened an investigation into the disappearance of Laura Babcock after learning that she was in contact with Millard prior to her disappearance in June, 2012.

Babcock, who was last seen in the city's west end, was "romantically linked" with Millard at some point, police said at the time.

Toronto police previously searched Millard’s farm in June.
