Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a two-alarm blaze that broke out in a factory in northwest Toronto early Friday morning.

Firefighters were alerted when smoke was detected inside the industrial building, where employees manufacture chairs, on Milvan Drive at about 12:45 a.m.

According to reports from the scene, chair backings and flammable liquids caught fire within the building, located near Finch Avenue West and Weston Road.

Heavy smoke triggered the building’s sprinkler system, which helped to extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported, a Toronto police spokesperson said.
