Two 18-year-old Uxbridge men have been charged for allegedly threatening to slit the throats of teens and slashing tires in Caesarea last week.

According to Durham police, two teens were followed by a Jeep while walking home along Regional Road 57 at around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

The vehicle’s headlights were turned off at the time, and came close to striking the teens. They were subsequently chased into the woods by two males from the Jeep who threatened to cut their throats, police said.

Police allege the same two suspects were also responsible for thefts from two vehicles on Lakeview Avenue. Both vehicles also had their tires slashed.

On Wednesday, two suspects were arrested by police.

D’Arcy Feitler and George Stampolidis are each charged with uttering threats, two counts of mischief under $5,000, and two counts of theft under $5,000.

Feitler is also charged with dangerous driving.
