GUELPH, Ont. - A woman has been arrested in Guelph, Ont., after allegedly trying to enter a courthouse while carrying crystal meth.
Police say the incident took place on Wednesday when a woman entered the building carrying two bags.
Investigators say a routine search of the bags revealed a small quantity of crystal meth, leading to the woman's arrest.
Police say courthouse personnel search all bags before they are taken into courtrooms for security reasons.
Thirty-nine-year-old Samantha Leerenveld has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and two counts of breach of probation.
