Police are appealing to the public for information after a woman bit a man’s arm during an altercation at a restaurant in the city’s west end.

Police say that two women attended a restaurant in the Queen Street and Augusta Avenue area at around 8 p.m. on August 14.

While at the restaurant, police say the women became involved in an altercation with a 38-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman and left without paying their bill.

It is alleged that during the course of the altercation one of the women attempted to hit the 29-year-old woman in the head with a glass jar and then bit the 38-year-old man on his arm.

The first woman is described as white, between 25 to 30 years old, approximately five-foot-five with a slim to medium build and long, straight dirty-blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt with lime green shorts and flip-flops.

The second woman is described as white, between 25 to 30 years old, approximately five-foot-five with a slim build and long, straight brown hair. She was last seen wearing a sleeveless light-blue shirt, a black skirt and light-brown sandals.

Police have released a surveillance camera image of the second woman.
