A York Regional Police officer is facing careless driving charges in connection with a collision between two police cruisers on Highway 407.
On Nov. 22, an officer was conducting a roadside stop on the highway, just west of Yonge Street, when his vehicle was struck from behind by a second cruiser arriving at the scene before 3:30 p.m.
No one was seriously hurt, but there was significant damage to the vehicles involved.
Const. Eugene Kushnir, 34 has been charged with careless driving.
