A man has been rushed to hospital with a leg wound after a shooting at the rear of an apartment building in the Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue area on Tuesday evening.

Police say they received a call before 7 p.m. about a shooting at the rear of 12 St. Dennis Dr. and found a male in his twenties shot in the leg. The victim was also beaten.

He has been taken to hospital with what are not believed to be life-threatening injuries.

Police are hunting for two suspects. One is described as a 16-year-old black male, five feet eight with a skinny build and he was wearing all black. The second suspect is described as a Persian male.
