Two men are in custody following a fatal stabbing overnight, as Toronto police continue to hunt for a suspect in a separate shooting incident.

In the first incident, a 40-year-old man was stabbed to death outside of a bar on Lansdowne Avenue, north of College Street at about 11:30 p.m. Friday.

The victim was found lying outside of the bar after a fight allegedly spilled onto the street. He was rushed to hospital, but later died of his injuries.

Two men have been arrested, but no charges have been laid yet.

Police are still looking for witnesses.

Meanwhile in the west end, police are looking for a suspect after shots were fired inside a 7-Eleven near Runnymede Road and Dundas Street.

Police say the suspect entered the store at about midnight demanding cash. He made off with a sum of money, and shots were fired inside the store. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a male in his early twenties who was wearing black pants and shoes, a black baseball cap and mask, and a grey hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
