Where Rev. Walker Stands on the Big Issues Facing Toronto:

1. How would you tackle the city's financial challenges?

I would cut a little bit off the police budget, take away their rights to attack people for medical marijuana and stopping people on the street for no reason.

2. What would you do with the city's tax rate?

I wouldn't want to add more taxes at all. I would rather see people over 65 who cant pay their taxes have their taxes dropped a bit.

3. What would you do to lower the city's crime rate?

Crime is definitely an issue. I find there more needs to be done to watch out for children than just stopping people in the street, just for the sake of stopping them.

4. Should the city be painting more bike lanes?

I want more bike lanes. Anywhere we can put one would be good for the city.

5. Do you believe the city should charge road tolls?

Only road toll I could see is along Steels Avenue. If people who live in York Region don't want to help pay for Steels then we need to set up a road toll so they are forced to pay for half of it.

6. How would you go about cleaning up the city?

I would like to see a lot of the stuff that pollutes our city, out of our city.

7. What would you do to breathe even more life into our city?

I think we got a lot of that already. Jazz fest and Indy, but I do not think we should have hosted the G20 Summit.

8. What is your big idea for the city?

More roads and more transit.
