Who says life in a retirement home is monotonous?

Residents of the Clark Retirement Community in Grand Rapids, Mich., put their dancing shoes to that theory in a creative mock music video that is garnering a lot of affection on the Internet.

Set to Michael Buble's "Feeling Good," the video is the first "senior citizen lip dub," according to the Grand Valley State University students who created the clip.

The university's website provides this description: "With more than a dozen unique scenes, there are humorous surprises as residents reenact the glamorous days of yesteryear and poke fun at stereotypical views of aging. From a synchronized swim scene to prune juice cocktails, more than 100 Clark residents gave their all throughout a grueling three hours of shooting."

The idea was hatched after the students created their own widely-popular lip synch video, which was listed in the Top 100 of YouTube's entertainment category after it debuted last fall.

"The residents and students had a fabulous time working together," Jane Brierly, Clark's director of marketing and admissions, said in a news release. "From practices to sharing meals, it was an amazing experience for everyone."

The final scene shows Bob Perl, Clark's executive director, finding the university's Tom and Marcia Hass locked in a kiss in a reprise of their role in the earlier lip dub.

Since its debut Monday, the video has 228,000 views and counting on YouTube, and has been shown on NBC's "Today Show."
