Police continue to search for a man in connection with a missing child investigation after the suspect's vehicle was found over the weekend.

Toronto police located the vehicle, believed to belong to Ricky Doodhnaught, in the city's west end. The vehicle is currently being examined by York Regional Police for evidence.

Police have yet to locate nine-week-old George Doodhnaught who was reported missing last week. The investigation is now being handled by the York Regional Police Homicide Unit.

On Nov. 24, police and child aid workers went to an address in Vaughan and attempted to take two children into protective custody. The mother of the children was arrested at the scene and an 11-month-old child was taken by the Children's Aid Society.

Doodhnaught was able to avoid arrest and flee from police.

Police said the last known person to see the child was a Woodbridge-area doctor on Oct. 31. Detectives have not been able to verify the parents' claims of the child's whereabouts after that date.

Ricky Doodhnaught, 31, of Woodbridge, is wanted on an arrest warrant for abduction in contravention of a custody order.

Doodhnaught is also wanted on two unrelated warrants for allegedly stealing gasoline.

He is described as a brown man, about 5'10" tall, with short black hair and brown eyes. He weighs about 240 lbs.

Anyone with information is asked to contact York Regional Police as 905-773-1221 ext. 7865 or Crime Stoppers at 905-222-8477.
