WATERFORD, Ont. - A motorcycle rider is dead after his bike collided with a car making a turn north of Simcoe, Ont.
Police say a car was turning left into a driveway near Waterford on Sunday night when it was struck by an off-road motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider, Gord Leroux, 49, of Norfolk County, was ejected from the bike and sustained life-threatening injuries.
He died a short time later at Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe.
The driver of the car received non-life-threatening injuries.
