NORTH BAY, Ont. - A summer camp in the North Bay Parry Sound district is the latest to report confirmed cases of swine flu with one adult and two children carrying the H1N1 virus.

The district health unit says all cases are mild and no hospitalization has been required.

The unit's acting medical officer of health says the cases shouldn't come as a surprise as the virus is already among the district's general population.

Health officials across the province say children should still be sent to camp as long as they are healthy.

The Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit has four summer camps with laboratory confirmed cases of H1N1 and a handful of other camps under investigation for clusters of respiratory illness.

The neighbouring Haliburton health unit had one camp under investigation this week, and a camp in the Ottawa area had reported confirmed cases of the novel strain.
