TORONTO - The Toronto Blue Jays avoided arbitration with shortstop Yunel Escobar, pitcher Brendan Morrow and outfielder Rajai Davis on Tuesday.

The team agreed to terms on a two-year deal with an option for Davis, and one-year contracts with Escobar and Morrow.

Davis, acquired from Oakland last fall, will get $2.5 million this season and $2.75 million in 2012. There is also a club option worth $3 million for 2013.

Escobar's contract is worth $2.9 million and Morrow's deal is for $2.3 million.

The news comes in the wake of one-year deals to avoid arbitration with pitchers Shawn Camp ($2.25 million), Casey Janssen ($1,095,000) and Jesse Litsch ($830,000).

Home run king Jose Bautista and reliever Jason Frasor are the only remaining Blue Jays who filed for arbitration but don't have agreements. Tuesday marks the deadline to avoid arbitration hearings.
