PANAMA CITY - Canada has booked its ticket for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Japan.

The Canadians qualified on Friday with a 6-0 victory over host Panama in the semifinals of the eight-country CONCACAF Under-20 Women's Championship.

Christabel Oduro and Jenna Richardson each scored twice for undefeated Canada (4-0-0). Jaclyn Sawicki and Nkem Ezurike had the other goals.

The CONCACAF qualifying tournament will send three representatives from North and Central America and the Caribbean to the 16-team world championships -- the two finalists and winner of the third-place playoff.

The unbeaten Americans (4-0-0), who won Group B, defeated Mexico 2-0 in the other semifinal Friday to book their spot.

Panama and Mexico will play for the third spot.
