Veteran Toronto city councilor Rob Ford is running for mayor after officially declaring his candidacy Thursday morning.
Ford made the announcement this morning on a local radio show.
He says Toronto is a deteriorating city under the last four years with too much graffiti and too many new taxes.
He's calling on voters to cast out "tax and spend" councillors when the election rolls around in October.
