Join us Jan. 12, 2011 as CP24 takes a look back at the last year in Haiti, from the moment an earthquake devastated the small country to the situation as it stands now.

In the last year we saw tremendous international support as more than 900 relief agencies from around the globe descended on Haiti to help.

But we've also seen incredible frustration, increasing violence and desperation as well as more tragedy as cholera spread through the nation, killing thousands.

Here's the coverage you can expect from CP24 today as it brings you ‘Haiti Now.'

Our coverage begins on the Breakfast show before we go live to Etobicoke at 9 a.m. with staff from GlobalMedic, an aid relief organization based in Toronto. During our noon broadcast, we'll speak to experts about their experiences in Haiti and their assessment on the relief efforts.

At 9 p.m. our specialized coverage continues as we speak with international relief agencies plus local Torontonians who have tried to make a difference.

Some of our guests throughout the day include:

• Craig Kielburger - founder, Free The Children

• Rahul Singh – Director, GlobalMedic

• John Saunders - Director of Red Cross Disaster Management in Ontario

• Dave Toycen - President World Vision Canada (in Haiti)

• CTV's Tom Walters, live from Haiti

• MTV's Aliyah Jasmine, who just returned from Haiti

CP24 will bring you the stories of survival, of hope and the heartbreaking tales of poverty as we look at ‘Haiti Now.'
