OAKVILLE, Ont. - A bus driver faces impaired driving charges after police pulled over a Toronto-bound coach on Sunday that was allegedly travelling in an aggressive manner.

Concerned motorists called police just before 7:30 a.m. to report a bus travelling unsafely on the Queen Elizabeth Way highway in the Oakville, Ont., area.

Provincial police intercepted the bus coming from Niagara Falls, which had 20 passengers on board.

After speaking to the 48-year-old driver from Niagara Falls, they charged him with driving a motor vehicle with blood-alcohol concentration of over 80 milligrams.

The passengers were picked up by another bus belonging to the same, unidentified company, and continued on their journey.

The driver was released on a promise to appear in court.
