TORONTO - Toronto FC midfielder Terry Dunfield will miss Saturday's game against FC Dallas because of a knee injury suffered this week in training.

Manager Ryan Nelsen said Dunfield was seeing a specialist Friday.

"It's not a good one," he said after training. "It could be short-term or a long one, we just have to get the expert advice from the orthopedic surgeon and go from there."

Dunfield was hurt in training Tuesday. He walked off the field very gingerly after receiving treatment behind the goal at BMO Field

Defender Danny Califf has been sidelined by the flu but could be ready to play Saturday.
