NEWMARKET - Police say a fifth person is now facing murder charges in connection with a fatal home invasion in Markham, Ont.
Lenford Roy Crawford, 28, of Brampton, is charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
York Region police say homicide investigators arrested Crawford at his home today and he is to appear in court Thursday in Newmarket.
Bieh Ha Pan, 53, was shot to death at her Markham home on Nov. 8, while her husband, Huei Hann Pan, 57, was shot but survived with serious injuries.
Their daughter, Jennifer Pan, 24, has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and conspiracy, in connection with the shootings.
She is scheduled to appear in Newmarket court on May 9.
