About 100 office workers employed by Highway 407 ETR are back on the job after going on strike last month.

The company that runs the toll highway and the union representing call centre employees reached a deal that brought an end to the strike, which began Feb. 22.

Despite the strike, Highway 407 traffic wasn't affected and ETR offices remained open.

Employees, who are represented by CAW Local 414, set up a 24-hour picket line outside ETR headquarters on Steeles Avenue in Woodbridge.

On its website, 407 ETR said its call centre is operating again on normal business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday).
