BRAMPTON, Ont. - More than a week of jury selection kicks off today in a courtroom in Brampton, Ont., for the trial of three men accused of plotting terror attacks in Canada.

A massive jury pool -- 1,168 potential jurors -- is being assembled for the case.

Crown and defence are hoping to have a 12-member panel seated within two weeks.

The trial is expected to take as long as two months to complete.

The hearing comes almost four years after a sweep in the Toronto area netted 18 terror suspects.

Of those, eight were convicted, while charges against seven others were dropped or stayed.
