A Hamilton convenience store owner has been charged for allegedly selling stun guns.
Police said their investigation into the sale of stun guns at Tabby’s Variety, which is located at 419 King St., began in September.
On Friday, officers executed a search warrant at the store and seized seven stun guns that were behind the sales counter, police said.
The owner, a 55-year-old woman, was also arrested. She was charged with weapons trafficking and possession of a weapon for the purpose of trafficking.
She was later released on an undertaking.
