A male driver was transported the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Brampton early Sunday afternoon, police say.
The collision happened near Queen Street East and Torbram Road.
Peel Regional Police said they were called to that area just after 1:30 p.m.
They say both drivers remained on scene.
The patient’s injuries are serious, but non-life threatening, Peel Regional Paramedic Services said.

The following roads are closed as police investigate: northbound Torbram Road at Queen Street East, southbound Torbram Road at Grenadier Road, eastbound Queen Street East at Finchgate Boulevard, and westbound Queen Street East at Chrysler Drive.
Police are urging motorists to avoid the area and consider alternate routes.
