A driver of a Lamborghini Urus, identified as a Quebec resident, has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run in Toronto’s Harbourfront earlier this month.

The incident happened just before 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 1, in the area of Queens Quay East and Yonge Street.

Police said an eastbound white Lamborghini Urus disobeyed the red traffic light and hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road at the time.

According to police, the female pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

The Lamborghini was later found in an underground parking garage nearby, but the driver had left.

Toronto police had been looking for the driver, who they identified as 29-year-old Samuel Fineus.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police say they’ve found and arrested Fineus. He has been charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm and leave accident scene.

The charges have not been tested in court.

Police are asking anyone with additional information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
