Toronto police are searching for suspects who allegedly forced their way into an apartment after pretending to deliver a package.
Police said on Aug. 16 at around 9;40 p.m., police were called to the area of Finch Avenue East and Warden Avenue for a reported robbery.
Police said a lone male suspect knocked on the victim’s door and claimed to be making a delivery.

The victim, police said, told the suspect to leave the package at the door.
The suspect dropped off the package and left the area.
Police said when the victim opened the door to grab the package, they were rushed by three suspects, who forced their way into the unit.
“The suspects ransacked the apartment before fleeing with several luxury items,” police said in a news release issued on Sept. 30.
They fled the area in a white, third-generation Acura RDX, police said.

The hold-up squad is leading the investigation and officers are trying to identify the suspects involved.
The suspect who initially knocked on the victim’s door has been described by police as approximately 20 years old with a thin build, medium-length black hair, and stubble. He was seen wearing a construction shirt with a black, long-sleeved shirt underneath, and was carrying a red book or folder.
The second suspect has been described as about 30 years old with a medium build. He was seen wearing a grey Reebok hoodie, black pants, a black ski mask, and black gloves. He was seen carrying a red GoodLife bag.
The third suspect is also believed to be around 30 years old and has a large build, police said. He was seen wearing a black Nike hoodie, black track pants, a black ski mask, and white gloves.
Images of the suspects have now been released by police.
“The suspects are considered dangerous. Anyone who sees the suspects is advised not to approach them, and to call 9-1-1 immediately,” police said in the news release.
