Toronto Fire is on the scene of a sinkhole in the city’s east end.
The sinkhole has closed Midland Avenue in both directions at Kingston Road.
It was initially reported as a water main break, Toronto Fire told CP24 in an email, but it turned into a sinkhole as crews were on scene investigating.
Toronto Water has also responded to the area.
It is unclear when lanes will reopen.
