Toronto police are searching for a male suspect after an office was broken into and several electronics were stolen in the city’s east end last month.

According to investigators, on Sept. 14, shortly after 4 a.m., a suspect used the fire escape to gain access to an office space in the Leslieville neighbourhood, near Queen Street East and Carlaw Avenue.

Once inside, they allegedly stole several boxes of electronics before leaving.

Police say the suspect was last seen walking southbound on Carlaw Avenue and eastbound on Queen Street East before possibly boarding a streetcar and fleeing the area.

He is described as male with a thin build and possibly 30-40 years of age. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt with white lettering and an “8” on the front and grey track pants, and carrying a brown cardboard box.

This investigation is ongoing.
