Peel Regional Police are expected to announce the results of Project High Guard Monday morning, an investigation into carjackings and high-end vehicle thefts.
Police said the eight-month investigation focused on a “violent criminal network” which was carrying out the thefts across the Greater Toronto Area.
Peel Regional Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah and Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown are set to speak at the 10 a.m. news conference, as well as others.
No other details about Monday’s announcement have been released.
CTV News and CP24 will stream the event live online and on the CTV News and CP24 apps.
