Two people were taken to hospital, one with serious injuries, after a collision in the northbound lanes of Highway 404 overnight.
Emergency crews were called to the busy highway near Steeles Ave. West at around 2:30 a.m. for reports of a vehicle rollover.
According to reports from the scene, two people were trapped inside the damaged vehicle, which was sitting on its roof.
Toronto Paramedic Services told CP24 two adults were transported to a trauma centre. One of them had serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, while the other sustained minor injuries.
Ontario Provincial Police send three lanes of the highway had reopened by around 5:30 a.m.
