Motorists are advised to stick to the collector lanes of Highway 401 in Scarborough following a collision that is backing up traffic in the express lanes.
Traffic is blocked in the eastbound express lanes through Morningside Avenue, CP24 Traffic Specialist Lisa Morales confirmed.
“A lot of emergency crews are on scene here,” she said Thursday. “The collector lanes will come in handy for you.”
Police said two eastbound express lanes are closed and one westbound express lane is closed as a result of the incident.
It is unclear when the express lanes will fully reopen.
