One driver has been arrested for impaired driving after a three-vehicle crash in Toronto’s east end that sent two people to hospital early Saturday morning.

In a post to social media, Toronto police say officers responded to the collision near Warden Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East at approximately 5:30 a.m.

All three drivers remained at the scene.

Police say two people were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while one person was taken into custody for impaired driving.

As a result of the crash, southbound Warden Avenue is closed at Fairfax Crescent, while eastbound St. Clair Avenue East is closed at Morneau Trail.

Drivers should expect delays in the area.
