Once the ride reached its destination, the driver then allegedly prevented the victim from leaving the vehicle and sexually assaulted her further, say police.
The victim was eventually able to flee the vehicle but left her purse in the car. That’s when the driver exited the vehicle and sexually assaulted her once more, according to a news release.
Following an investigation, Sahib Brar, 32, of Brampton, was arrested.
He has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of forcible confinement. The charges have not been proven in court.
Toronto police believe their may be additional victims and are urging anyone with further information to contact them.
