A 45-year-old man is facing several charges after allegedly shooting another person outside a bar in Toronto’s east end and being found to be in possession of a loaded gun.

Toronto police say officers were called to the area of Danforth and Greenwood avenues shortly after 2 a.m. on Sept. 1 following reports of a shooting.

Investigators say the accused attended a licensed establishment and got into a fight outside with another patron.

He then allegedly took out a gun and fired it, striking that individual, before fleeing the scene.

On Oct. 31, Stasky St Clair, 45, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with one count each of discharge firearm with intent, aggravated assault, possession of a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, and possession of a prohibited device (magazine). He is also facing two counts each of possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order.

Police say St Clair was found to have a loaded 9mm firearm in his possession at the time of arrest.

He was scheduled to appear in bail court on Nov. 1.
