4 charged with murder after 55-year-old man dies from ‘blunt force trauma’ in Aurora

Police have charged four suspects with murder in the death of a 55-year-old man in Aurora last week.

The incident happened on June 10 near Wellington Street East and Walton Road, which is just east of Yonge Street.

York Regional Police said they were called to the area at around 2:45 p.m. for reports of unknown trouble at a residence and subsequently located the victim suffering from significant trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

On June 12, the Office of the Chief Coroner identified the victim as 55-year-old David Gosse, of no fixed address.

An autopsy determined that the cause of his death was due to “blunt force trauma,” police said in a news release.

James Montgomery, 44, of Alliston, Craig Wilson, 31, of no fixed address, Jaymie White, 36, of Georgina, and Bianka Faganello, 29, all of Aurora, are each facing a second-degree murder charge.

This investigation is ongoing.

Police are asking any witnesses who have not yet spoken to them or anyone who may have security video from the area to come forward.
