VANCOUVER - An 18-year-old man is facing charges after a bizarre attack on a man who had advertised a car for sale on Craigslist.
Vancouver police say the 34-year-old victim was meeting a potential buyer on Tuesday morning when the buyer suddenly became angry and struck the victim over the head with a frying pan.
As the victim tried to call 911, the attacker choked him and slashed him in the face, head and chest.
Police say the assailant then offered to take the victim to a medical clinic where he dropped him off before driving off in the victim's car.
Police have arrested Yeon Chul Peter Lee, who is facing charges of aggravated assault, unlawful confinement and theft.
The victim was treated in hospital and is recovering at home.
