Jurors got a clearer picture of what it was like on December 26, 2005 at Yonge and Elm Streets on the day that Jane Creba was killed.

Crime scene evidence was unveiled Thursday as jurors got a look at the bullet that killed Creba. An emergency room doctor found it in the hospital.

The jury also learned that some onlookers tried to save Creba, while others took photos with cell phone cameras.

One of the first officers to arrive on the scene says that after she dispersed the photographers -- she was directed to a wounded man lying on the sidewalk a few metres from Creba.

The 15-year-old was killed when she was caught in the crossfire of a gun battle in downtown Toronto that left six others wounded on Boxing Day.

A 20-year-old man, who can only be identified as J.S.R., because he was 17 at the time of the incident, has pleaded not guilty to one count of second-degree murder, six counts of attempted murder, and five weapons charges.

J.S.R. is the first of nine people to go to trial in the case. Seven of those awaiting trial are adults and one is a young offender.
