Police investigating reported shooting
Police have taken five people into custody after a reported shooting in Etobicoke.
Officers were called to the scene on The West Mall near The East Mall and Rathburn Road at around 12:55 p.m.
According to EMS, one person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being grazed by a bullet.
Teen stabbed in east-end parking lot
A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being slashed in the face during a brawl Thursday afternoon.
According to police, about 10 people were involved in a fight in a fast food restaurant parking lot on Lawrence Avenue near Midland Avenue when the stabbing occurred.
Three suspects then fled the scene on foot following the incident.
Police say they are currently searching the area for suspects.
