Homes evacuated due to gas leak

Homes near Strachan Avenue and King Street West were evacuated due to a gas leak at a construction site Tuesday morning.

A natural gas line was ruptured while crews were working at a site on Massey Street.

A handful of townhouse units were evacuated as a precaution until the gas leak was capped.
