LOS ANGELES - Bryan Adams is now enshrined in concrete.

The Canadian singer, songwriter and producer got his Hollywood Walk of Fame star Monday in front of the Musicians Institute.

His hits include "Cut Like a Knife," "Summer of '69," "Run to You," and "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You."

Adam recalled visiting Hollywood Boulevard at 16 and marvelling at the gold stars. He said he was humbled by seeing his own star Tuesday.

Retired hockey star Wayne Gretzky was on hand for the dedication. Adams sang Canada's national anthem before Gretzky's final game.

The Grammy-winning singer is currently on tour.

His charitable foundation, The Bryan Adams Foundation, provides grants for projects supporting the elderly, victims of wars and natural disasters, and those suffering from mental or physical abuse.

He announced last week that he's having a baby at age 51 with his personal assistant, Alicia Grimaldi, who helped launch the foundation.

Over Adams' prolific career he's picked up a Grammy and 15 nominations, and 18 Junos to go along with 56 nominations.

He's also been named an officer of the Order of Canada and was enshrined on Canada's Walk of Fame.
