One person has been rushed to hospital with critical injuries after a fire inside a high-rise apartment building in Brampton Monday afternoon.
Emergency services were called shortly after 3 p.m. to the area of Beech and Queen streets following reports of an active apartment fire.

The blaze has since been extinguished and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
Peel Regional Police say the building has was previously evacuated but residents have since returned.
Roads in the area have reopened.
