A midtown Toronto jewelry store was robbed Monday morning by two men toting guns.

The men entered Omni Jewelcrafters at around 10 a.m. and robbed the salesperson on shift, according to Toronto police Const. Tony Vella. The salesperson was then reportedly pushed into a vault.

Vella said the robbery victim was not cooperating with police who are investigating the incident.

However, police believe both suspects covered their faces to conceal their identity and then fled in a vehicle.

The Toronto Hold-Up Squad has been notified about the armed robbery. The Hold-Up Squad Is called in to investigate all financial institution and retail business robberies that occur in Toronto.
