LONDON, Ont. -- Police in London, Ont., say an apartment fire has left a man with burns on a large portion of his body.
Police say the building's occupants called emergency crews after smelling smoke around 10:30 p.m. Friday.
Firefighters located the blaze in an 11th-floor apartment and found a 50-year-old man inside.
Police say the man was taken to hospital and remains in serious condition as a result of the burns.
The cause of the fire hasn't been determined yet.
Ontario's fire marshal and local fire authorities are investigating.
