Toronto Maple Leafs fans got another shot Saturday at scoring a ticket to the team’s first home playoff game since 2004.

At 10 a.m., the NHL team sold a small block of tickets for Monday night’s game against the Boston Bruins.

The online sale was open to members of the Leafs’ Last Minute Club, and those fans needed plenty of luck because thousands of people competed for about 300 tickets.

The Last Minute Club has about 74,000 members.

Jamie Deans, a spokesman for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, said the tickets sold out in 25 minutes.

With a limit of two per person, the tickets to Game 3 were sold via Ticketmaster. According to Ticketmaster's website, ticket prices for Game 3 range between $56 and $1,408.

Things didn’t go so smoothly the last time the Maple Leafs sold playoff tickets to its Last Minute Club.

MLSE and Ticketmaster Canada were forced to apologize April 25 when a technical glitch disrupted the sale of tickets for the Leafs’ first two home playoff games.

The error occurred on Ticketmaster’s end, and MLSE assured fans that the disruption that left fans angry and confused would not occur again.

Deans told CP24 that there were no technical problems during Saturday's sale.

Meanwhile, MLSE is hosting a party in Maple Leaf Square during Saturday night’s Leafs-Bruins game, the second in the first-round, best-of-seven series.
