Toronto police have released an image of a suspect after a person was seriously injured during a robbery in North York.

The incident happened on Sept. 24 near Lawrence Avenue West and Allen Road.

Toronto police said they attend the scene that day around 3 p.m.

According to investigators, a person was sitting at a table when a man approached them and grabbed their purse.

Police said that the victim's purse was attached to their body and they were dragged 10 to 15 feet by the suspect, who then fled the area.

The suspect is described as in his 20's and five foot 10 with braids.

He was last seen wearing a black vest, a blue shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.
