A two-vehicle accident at Davenport Road and Lansdowne Avenue was caught by CP24s cameras Sunday morning as reporter Jackie Crandles did a live report on a recent hit-and-run in the intersection.
The unbelievable footage shows an eastbound cab sideswiping another vehicle attempting to turn onto Lansdwone Avenue from Davenport Road. A loud crunching noise can be heard as contact is made.
“Oh my goodness. At this very location we have a two-vehicle collision involving a small Honda Fit and a taxi-cab,” a calm and collected Crandles said as she broke the story for CP24 viewers. “There is a passenger in the vehicle who looks to need some assistance, so we are going to check to see if the occupants need any help.”
The driver and passenger in the Honda Fit were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries while the driver and passenger in the cab did not require any medical treatment.
Police are investigating.
