Peel police have made an arrest in the stabbing death of a Mississauga teenager.

Kevin Pham, 19, was stabbed inside an apartment building on Hurontario Street at The Queensway on the evening of Dec. 28.

He was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

On Sunday afternoon officers arrested a 17-year-old suspect in connection with the case.

The suspect, who cannot be identified under the terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with second-degree murder.

Homicide officers have also issued a Canada-wide warrant for Elon Washington Brooks, 19, in connection with the case.

Brooks should be considered armed and dangerous.
